New linocut print update!

Here is my print to add to The Little Free Print Exchange project and this theme is based on “community”. It was open to interpretation, but designed to fit the conference theme, Print Matters/ Printing Matters. I wanted it to be about the unity and bond between printmakers.  This will be on view at the MAPC conference. It will also serve The Little Free Print Exchange portfolio will consist of prints by a very diverse group of Kentucky and area printmakers. Three small “houses” will be constructed through workshops and by community volunteers and used to house a set of prints that can be viewed as a contained exhibit, like a book while simultaneously encouraging visitors to leave a print and take a print - like a continuous and open print exchange. After acting as vessels for the print exchange, the little houses will have a second life as Little Free Libraries in small communities without a public library.
